Emma Hanbury

Philanthropy Manager, Individual Giving and Legacies

Emma joined ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï in September 2026 as Philanthropy Manager, Individual Giving and Legacies. She is responsible for developing the College’s individual giving and legacy programmes, building relationships with alumnae and supporters, and creating opportunities for members of the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï community to support the College’s future.

Emma brings over a decade of fundraising and development experience in education. Before joining ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï, she was Director of Development at St Mary’s School, Cambridge, where she established the school’s development function, developed its alumnae engagement programme and led a number of successful fundraising campaigns.

Alongside developing ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’ individual giving and legacy programmes,  Emma is particularly looking forward to strengthening relationships with the College’s alumnae and wider community, and establishing the 1954 Society to recognise and celebrate those who choose to leave a legacy to the College.
